Who is behind RiVedi

Ivemind is a cooperative based in Bolzano, Italy, that builds management software for retail and healthcare. RiVedi is part of the IVEmind platform, the same family as our point-of-sale and customer management software: the same components, the same infrastructure, the same focus on Italian rules.

RiVedi is the platform’s third product, dedicated to optical stores and practices: a peculiar trade, halfway between a shop and healthcare. That is why we did not bend a generic system to fit: we built each feature around the real work of the optician, from the sales counter to the refraction room, from glasses ready for collection to the Sistema Tessera Sanitaria.

RiVedi was born and keeps growing in a real optical store, together with the optometrist and the accountant who work with it. Concrete requests (a customer card you can read at a glance, quotes with an expiry date, the lens assistant in the quote, a supplier payables schedule) make it into the software, instead of sitting at the bottom of a list.

Italian rules are built into the software you use every day: Sistema TS, VAT by item type, e-invoicing. Customers’ clinical data are special categories under art. 9 GDPR and we treat them accordingly: encrypted with a dedicated key, visible only to authorised roles, with every view logged.
