Who is behind RiVedi

Ivemind is a cooperative based in Bolzano, Italy, that builds management software for retail and healthcare. RiVedi is part of the IVEmind platform — the same family of products covering point-of-sale and customer-relationship solutions: shared components, the same infrastructure, the same focus on Italian compliance.

RiVedi is the platform’s third product, dedicated to optical stores and practices — a peculiar sector, halfway between retail and medical device. That is why we did not bend a generic system to fit: we built each feature around the real work of the optician, from the sales counter to the refraction room, from the ready-to-collect job to the Health System (Tessera Sanitaria).

Every feature went through opticians and optometrists who use the software every day. Concrete requests — a customer profile you can read at a glance, quotes with an expiry date, a lens-feasibility alert straight from the prescription, a supplier payables schedule — become part of the product, not items on a distant roadmap.

Compliance is never a module to buy separately: tax, Health System submission, VAT and invoicing are included in every edition. Patients’ clinical data are special categories under art. 9 GDPR and we treat them accordingly: field-level encryption, role-based access and an immutable access log.
