Data deletion

This page explains how to request the deletion of personal data processed through the rivedi service, provided by IVEMIND Società Cooperativa Sociale (registered office: Via Werner von Siemens 23, 39100 Bolzano (BZ), Italy — VAT IT03138990217). Requests are fulfilled within 30 days.

1. Holders of a rivedi account (optical stores)

If you are a Customer of the service (optical store or practice) and wish to delete your account and related data, send a request to privacy@ivemind.com from the email address associated with the account. Upon termination of the contractual relationship, data are deleted or anonymised as set out in the Privacy Policy (without prejudice to legal tax-retention obligations).

2. End customers contacted via WhatsApp

If you received WhatsApp messages from an optical store that uses rivedi, your data (phone number, message content, receipts) are processed on behalf of that store, which is the Data Controller. To request deletion you can:

• contact the optical store you are a customer of directly, requesting deletion; or
• write to privacy@ivemind.com indicating the store name and the phone number concerned: we will forward the request to the store and provide the technical support needed to carry it out.

In any case, upon disconnection of the store’s WhatsApp number or on request, the associated messages and metadata are deleted according to the retention periods in the Policy. You may also, at any time, ask the store to stop contacting you via WhatsApp (withdrawal of consent).

3. What to include in the request

To help us identify your data, please indicate: the type of request (deletion), your contact details (email and/or phone number), and — if you are an end customer — the name of the optical store. We will reply within 30 days. The right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) remains unaffected.
